Un bestiario fantástico es una recopilación de animales y criaturas monstruosas, creados por la insaciable curiosidad del hombre. Algunas de estas bestias se caracterizan por reunir atributos animales y humanos, otras, quizá incluso más “monstruosas” reúnen simbólicamente la combinación de dos especies animales.

A fantastic bestiary is a collection of animals and monstrous creatures, created by man’s insatiable curiosity. Some of these beasts are characterized by having animal and human attributes, others, perhaps even more “monstrous” have symbolically the combination of two animal species.
